Using VTL for AppSync has generally been deprecated and marked as an alternative method, the primary method of using AWS AppSync today is Pipeline Resolvers -
We use this internally and its currently not supported by Localstack, would love to see this feature as its a crucial part of using AppSync.
Any plans on adding this to the roadmap?
Hi Amit, thanks for reaching out. As briefly discussed today, we’re in the process of adding (improved) support for pipeline resolvers - we’ll make sure to prioritize this work in our backlog, and will get back to you soon with an update.
