LocalStack Discuss Forum Deprecation Notice

Hello, LocalStack Discuss Community,

We want to let you know that we will shut down the LocalStack Discuss forum on January 27. Here is a brief overview of our plan:

  • January 2 (Today): This global announcement is posted, and new user registrations are disabled.
  • January 13: The forum will transition to read-only mode, so no new posts, reactions, or comments can be made.
  • January 20: We’ll send a reminder email to all users about the upcoming shutdown date, encouraging you to back up any important content.
  • January 27: The forum will be shut down, and the domain will redirect to a static export hosted on GitHub Pages.

Exporting Your Data

If you have important posts or other data you’d like to keep, please follow the instructions in the official Discourse documentation:
How to export user data

We strongly recommend completing any exports before January 27, as no further modifications or recoveries will be possible once the forum is fully shut down.
