We want to let you know that we will shut down the LocalStack Discuss forum on January 27. Here is a brief overview of our plan:
- January 2 (Today): This global announcement is posted, and new user registrations are disabled.
- January 13: The forum will transition to read-only mode, so no new posts, reactions, or comments can be made.
- January 20: We’ll send a reminder email to all users about the upcoming shutdown date, encouraging you to back up any important content.
- January 27: The forum will be shut down, and the domain will redirect to a static export hosted on GitHub Pages.

We strongly recommend completing any exports before January 27, as no further modifications or recoveries will be possible once the forum is fully shut down.
